  • 1.  Can Symantec's DLT monitor what's transfered to removable devices?

    Hello,

We are looking at a DLP system that monitors our company data being moved out side our building, such as usb devices, email, ftp, utilities like dropbox.  Does Symantec's DLP do all of this?

I see Mcafee so a similar product, has anyone had experience of both?

If so does anyone know the rough cost per PC?

    Thanks

Yes it can monitor data copied or moved to a removable drive as long as windows recognizes the device as a removable drive. Have you seen a demo or talked to anyone about it? Drop me a private message if interested

DLP Endpoint can provide a solution if you were primarily interested in user laptops to track.  It is a configurable option under System Agents.
