I am not able to block any extension e.g .zip .rar or anything.

I m using MR4MP1aa can anyone suggest.

have you tried to block winzip or winrar on the computers that you want to block from the application control?

I already blocked winzip.exe or winrar.exe.

But I want to block extension wise like .zip .mp3 .rar .exe .dll .vmx or any others.

Any Suggestions on this?

i never tried to block any extension wise files, i blocked the whole application so that its files are also blocked.

I know how I block application but I testing here to block a extension.

I think there is no feature to block extension.

block moving mp3? Add a new rule under application and device control tab. Under add application control rule set. add a new rule for file and filder attempts. Enter*.mp3 for apply to the following files and folders. Under the actions tab define the actions (block, prevent move etc...)and voila you are done. APply this to the group you desire to apply to

 No, Not that I know of. This is how we do it.

This is the correct and only way to block extensions, should be in the manual.
