  • 1.  Can we stop ability to stop AClient service?

    Ok so we've deployed this corporately.  I have gone ahead and protected aclient agent with a password.  However I notice that clients can still go into the Services and stop the service or disable it and the service allows this.  This is a long shot but my manager has asked if there is a way to block that.

    We had a huge issue with this when we started rolling out Altiris.  Essentially you set rights to the service through Group Policy, restricting key people to having full access and giving "Authenticated Users" read access to the service.

     You can do this via group policy.  We did that here and it worked wonders! :D
