    Hi Farzad,

You can use Live Update Administrator utility if your SEPM server is not connected to internet.

This utlity can be install on any machine which is conntected to internet.

    ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/products/liveupdate/lua_2.3/LUA%20v231%20-%20Users%20Guide.pdf

    Hope this help!

    You can do that.

What you need is "Third Party Management" enabled the correct "index2.dax" file and the current .zip file for the component you want to update.

That´s how my script works: http://www.symantec.com/connect/downloads/script-download-definitions-sepm

If you change the $DefPath value to e.g. C:\Temp, you will have there all needed files.

Let me know if you need a more detailed description

Hi Zebbelin and other thread followers,

Interesting article!  If it works for you, great.  Do keep in mind, though, that it is not a script/procedure that is tested or supported by Symantec.  Use at your own risk (and please do cast a vote to the enhancement requests mentioned above!)

    Thanks and best regards,

    Mick

    Hi Mick,

I absolutely agree that this script can´t be supported by Symantec. But the procedure how to use Third Party Content Management is described here:

    http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH106028

This works as well for SEP 12.1
