Is there any way to ghost say 8 machines all at once without booting them to the ghost by using CD or USB? If so how? Thanks for your help in advanced.

Need to check if you are using GSS or Norton Ghost, as you have not explicitly identified which version you have.

First off, this forum is for support of Ghost Solution Suite, which is an enterprise product based on different technology to the Norton Ghost retail product.
Norton Ghost support is handled in the Backup forums (Backup Exec if I recall correctly).
Having now told us that you have Norton Ghost, it is something of a shame that you could not go the extra mile and include a version number, but perhaps you believe we can guess it somehow.

So, in the absence of any version information, if your version of Norton Ghost can be run manually from the command line to create a backup, then you could use the AT scheduler to run the same command line automatically on whatever schedule you wish to set up. This presumes a version of Ghost that can run under Windows. If you have a much older version of Norton Ghost then I would strongly recommend that you use boot media and image with the target machine not running the O/S you are trying to back up.
If you are imaging modern hardware with SATA hard disks and optical drives, you will need to boot to WinPE in order to have the necessary hardware support.

Why you want to simultaneously image 8 machines without booting them to ghost we can only speculate over. Perhaps when you have the time you can provide the guys in the Backup forums with a more detailed description of your requirement and why you need to do it this way, and maybe they can come up with a better solution.
Just bear in mind that the less information you can be bothered to provide, the less relevant assistance forum members can offer.

The code for the later Norton Ghost product moved away from the Symantec ghost and is using a version or BESR as the engine.   Not certain if it is the same exact code but it is simular to the BESR stuff.

    Cheers.
