    Hello I really hope I am in the right place. I am brand new to this so if I say something that doesn't make sense just let me know. I have to set up laptops that will be traveling and not attached to the domain. I want to know if I originally connect them to the domain can I configure Symantec to install the unmanaged client version? I could then dis-join them from the domain and they would be able to keep up to date on virus definitions.

    We can go with Location Specific Policy Setup wherein:
    1. Clients can launch liveupdate when outside
    2. CLient get updates from SEPM when connected to SEPM in the Domain
