  • 1.  cancelled image job but pc continually pxe booting

    Hello,

    After cancelling an image job from DS7.1 the pc gets stuck at the pxe boot screen. Over 16 hours have elapsed since cancelling the job but the pc is still trying to pxe boot.

    what do you mean stuck at PXE - is it able to boot to hard disk - can you not hit escape to bypass PXE ?

    Send a "reboot to production" task to it.

    "Stuck at the PXE boot screen" sounds like you end up in WinPE.  If you are, simply reboot.

    Before doing so, restart the Netboot_Server service on the PXE server / Site server to which the client connects for PXE.  You loose NOTHING if you hard-reboot from a WinPE screen.

    If you mean it's literally in the PXE boot menu (odd) that you get when bootinf from a NIC, just bounce it.
