  • 1.  Cannot access to Liveupdate Administrator 2.3.4 after installed

    Hi everyone,

    After I installed LUA 2.3.4, I cannot login to LUA console although port 7070 to 7073 is opened,

    Can anyone help me with this,

    I dont see any error message,

    I try to using Chrome to access LUA webpage but Chrome said "this webpage is not available",

    Im using Windows Server 2003 and LUA 2.3.4,

    And you've tried the following URLs?

    • http://<hostname>:7070/lua
    • http://<IP address>:7070/lua
    • http://localhost:7070/lua
    • http://127.0.0.1/lua (on LUA itself)

    Is the service running?

    I try all of it link even https://localhost:7073/lua but nothing happened, and when I connect to any of those link, internet browser taking too long then it show message "webpage not available"

    I then I check port by using command line netstat and it show 7070-7073 is using by tomcat7.exe

    are you able login locally ?

    Accessing LUA
     

    The LUA installer adds a shortcut to the Windows Start Menu. Access this shortcut by clicking Start>All Programs>Symantec LiveUpdate Administrator>LiveUpdate Administrator. A shortcut is also added to the Windows desktop. These shortcuts will open a Web browser window and navigate to the LUA Web site over the localhost connection. Use the username and password supplied during the installation process to login

    Yup, I also using it but it isnt working, still cannot access LUA webpage

    Trying to uninstall and install many time but seems nothing happend,

    Maybe LUA 2.3.4 cannot using with server 2003 r2???

    No, It's working on windows 2003.

    Still cannot find any solution,

    I manage to install Server 2008 R2 on VM and install LUA 2.3.4 and it work perfectly...

    I ready dont know why LUA 2.3.4 dont work with Server 2003, it is 2th time I try to install LUA 2.3.4 on 2 different server 2003..

    Just noted to everyone this problems...
