This issue has been solved. See solution.

So I came accross this after I installed the Symantec Client Management Suite 7.0 on my test box.  I cannot access the web console from any computer except the server it is installed on.  Any time I try to access the web console from any computer besides the server I get an access is denied on it.  I have added my domain username to the Symantec Administrators group but it still gives me access denied.  I am an administrator on the server, can remote into the server and do anything else, just cannot access the web console.  I have had others test it after adding them to the Symantec administrators group, but they get the same thing.  This has probably been asked and anwsered before, but I could not find it in my searches.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you comment on your IIS Security Levels?

At the root Altiris virtual directory, what is the security level (anonymous, etc). What about at the Console virtual directory level? Are you prevented from any security policy from loading active-x controls? Is the server in a local or trusted location in Internet Explorer?

I think Jim has it with his

I think Jim has it with his last comments.  When I've had this issue, it has been due to the NS not being in the "Local Intranet" zone, which is the only zone which allows (by default) automatic logon using your domain credentials.

Thanks,

You were absolutely correct

You were absolutely correct with the local and trusted location within Internet Explorer.  I added the server to the list of trusted locations and everything worked like a charm.  What is odd is this did not happen with the 6.x versions of NS.  Anywho all is working correctly now.  Thanks.
