Cannot access quarantined items

    Hi,

     

    We have Symantec Mail Security for Exchange 6.0 on a Windows 2003 standard sp2 server.  For some unknown reason, I can no longer access the quarantine.  I routinely would access the quarantine and clean it up, but now the program says it is 'Contacting the Server' (bottom left of screen) and then says 'Completed', but the status bar keeps running and the quarantine items are inaccessible.  They are listed, but I cannot do anything with them or change pages or anything.  I've tried reboots of the server and manually stopping the services and restarting, but nothing has worked yet.

     

    The only other detail is that the quarantine exceeded the limit, which is why I wanted to go in and clean it out.  I took out the quarantine limits except for the 'keep for x days' part and played with the number of days to keep it for just to troubleshoot.

     

    I found a similar posting out on the net, but it was for NAV 2004, and the only suggestion given was to upgrade the product.  But in our case, this is a new product, just installed 10-1-08.  And it had been working fine!

     

    Anyone else have this problem?  I really need to get it fixed, because as it turns out there is a couple valid  emails that were caught and I need to release them.......
