Has anyone of you ever tried to add a folder exception on a partition\drive using RAW format within SEP11 ?

I'm getting the following message : “Add Security Risk Folder Exception. Drive E:\ couldn’t be seized. False Parameter”

    Hello,

It is highly recommended that all Windows servers and clients should use NTFS.

    FAT offers essentially no security.

    However, Check this Thread:

I cannot use NTFS on this drive.

The measurement process works fine with SAV 9 or 10.

After the installation of the SEP11, the machine cancels the measurement process.

The logs shows that the measurement program (Noisys) could not outsource its data on drive E:\. The software uses an ADXMP card that uses exclusively a partition, which is always drive E. It is not allowed to format this drive. The format of the partition is RAW. Drive E:\ is a logical drive in an extended partition.

I tried to add drive E to the exclude list of SEP11, but it did not work and Symantec showed an error message: “Add Security Risk Folder Exception. Drive E:\ couldn’t be seized. False Parameter”.

When I use an older virus scanner like SAV9 or SAV10, the measurement works without problems.

    Problem solved by SEP11 version MR6 MP2. I was using MR5.
