I upgraded DS to 6.9 SP1 and then installed Manintanance Pack. After this, I cannot get the scriptet OS to work. Im trying till Add new OS (WinXP). I point to the location where the sourcefiles is located (D:\Source\winxp\i386). The files is being copied to express\deploy\winOS00X. Whe DS has finished copying, the same screen comes back, asking me to point out the new sourcefile. When i do this, the same procedures starts all over. What I mean is that i don't get any options in the list. Any ideas of what can be the problem?
I have tried to uninstall everyting and installing it step by step but with the same result.

  There are two possible

There are two possible causes for this issue.

1.     For each OS you add, there will be an associated database entry in the unattend_setup_files table. In this table, there is a file path reference under the location row. This file path has to be valid and the WINNT.exe present for it to be considered valid. If this is not, then this OS option is removed and you'll be forced to add the OS files again.

2.     If you have a remote Deployment Solution console installed, make certain the shortcut properties have a Start in: value of \\DSname\eXpress. If they don't, then these remote consoles will be looking locally for these OS files.

For the first cause, with the missing files, you can restore the WinOS folder from a backup of you have one and then re-create the database entry. However, it may simply be easier to add the OS files again and make certain that no one deletes the WinOS folders.

For the second cause, make certain the Start in: value is to the UNC path of the DS eXpress share.
