Hello - I am trying to update a PC using the liveupdate button.  But when I try to update I get the message that i cannot connect. see screenshot.

IS the liveupdate server working?  or is it down?

It's not down.

You don't have a firewall or other intermediary device blocking access, correct?

You and uninstal and reinstall it. If that doesn't work try reinstalling SEP

from the screen shot its connecting to some dnscapp..intra.dns.. what is that?

seems like its going to liveudpate administrator for updates.

apply a new liveupdate policy from SEPM so that it takes updates from SEpm or from internet.

does the machine has internet, first it is attempting to download from internal liveupdate srever, since it is unable it is checking on symantec liveupdate as well.

LU policy is configured to use internal liveupdate and symantec liveupdate.

can you post the LU log?

Hi,

Are you using proxy ?

As per screen shot your sep client not able to connect symantec live update site.

Try to give full internet rights particular machine and check...

Thanks In Advance
