You can stage software bulletins and download software update packages on the Patch Remediation Center page, where all available software updates are listed. You can also do this from any Patch Management Solution report.
If you have problems to download, please verity if your SMP have internet access allowed or configure SMP to use a proxy server.
Configuring the SMP Settings to use Proxy Server:
1) In the Symantec Management Console, in the Settings menu, click All Settings.
2) In the left pane, in the Settings folder, click Notification Server > Notification Server Settings. On the Server Settings page.
3) Configure the proxy information on Proxy tab.
The Test Settings option validates the proxy server settings by attempting to connect to an external Web site.
If error messages appear when you test the settings, ensure that your authentication credentials are correct. Ensure that your proxy server is running and that no general network errors exist.
