Cannot enable the Auto protect function continously for corporate edition 10.2.

Hi,

OS: Windows XP SP2
Symantec Antivirus: Corporate Edition 10.2 BNDL BUS PACK IN 10 USER.

I have installed Symantec AV as a Client group and cannot enable the Auto protect.
When I enable the auto protect from Symantec console after a second it gets disable.
Please give solution how I can keep Auto Protect function enable continuously.

Hey,

did you have a look into the event Logs if it gives some errors ? Just look there what you can find and paste it here.

 As speedy suggest the best thing to do would be to look in the event log. The two most common problems that cause this are these:

Event ID 42
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security....

Problem when logged on as restricted user
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2005111610280548

But again you should look for a specific error in the event log
