Cannot extract mailbox messages from the Exchange backup error

I am backing up my Exchange 2010 which is on a Windows 2008 R2 server. Full backups seem to be succeeding with GRT turned on. However, sometimes on my incremential backups I am getting this:
Final error: 0xe0000393 - Cannot extract mailbox messages from the Exchange backup. Review the job log for more information.
Then below that in the logs I see this for two databases being backed up:
Not sure why.

Try creating these DWORD registry keys on the Backup Exec server ~
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\VirtFile
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\VirtFile
Set those registry keys and restarted the server and will see how that helps.

After adding those registry keys and restarting the server, I started an incremential backup and now recieved this error on two of my mailbox databases that had previously recieved the above errors:
Allow a Full backup first and then take incrementals
is this errror connected to
Final error: 0xe00002f7 - Cannot extract mailbox messages from the Exchange backup. Review the job log for more information.
Final error category: Resource Errors
