    Hello

    We cannot access the "Miscrosoft Active Directory Import" page, Altiris 7.1 keeps giving us this error message (screenshot attached). In the logs, I noticed in the logs that it failed to resolve the network addresses of certain computers, the exact message "Failed to resolve network address for : "computerName".

    Has anyone had this issue before? Please advice how I can go about to resolve this issue

    Is there a message in the NS log that corresponds exactly to when you try this page? We can help much easier if you explain.

    All those messages relate to failed agent pushes. You need to look at the log exactly at the time you've tried to access the AD Import page.

    Hi 

    Just an update on this problem. I cannot access the Import page when I RDP on our SMP 7.1 server. But when accessing the page via the web directly on my computer it works. So maybe there is a problem with IE on our server I'll have a look at that later.

    I have a AD group "SMP-Admin". This AD group is mapped as a role in SMP with admin privileges. The account of "Mr.Smith" has been added to this group in AD. But in SMP, I still cannot see the account of "Mr.Smith" in the "SMP-Admin" role. I then manually reran the rule to update the accounts in the "SMP-Admin" group but still cannot see the account. I confirmed in the organisational default view that the user "Mr.Smith" exists.

    So myquestion now is why is the role "SMP-Admin" not updated? In the logs, it just showed that the import was completed successfully.

    I think you'll find those message show anyway, they don't have any relation to the AD Import page. Try turning off your scheduled agent push and those messages should disappear.
