  • 1.  Cannot receive tasks while in PXE Environment (7.5 SP1 HF5)

    Hello world!

    Since my Altiris 7.5 SP1 upgrade, my team and I have seen some very strange things...

    The one that has got us stumped is where we can not push a task while the machine is in the PXE environment.  We first thought this was because some dll's that were commented out in the runagent.bat file, so we un-commented them and it seemed like things were running just fine.  However, today the issue came back...

    The only way that I've been able to push an image (without using our image menu) is to push the image right after you hit F8 in the PXE boot menu.

    Any suggestions on a fix?!?!

    Well, I was able to find the fix...

    By closing out of the image select menu (managed or unmanaged) in the PXE environment, tasks started coming through...

    Anyone know if this is by design?
