Cannot see the 8th slot

This issue has been solved. See solution.
I have 8 slots, also i put 8 tapes. But in the device pool list, i can able to see only 7. What to do to access the 8th one?

The missing slot is probably the first physical slot and it has been configured as a mail or I/O slot. The mailslot is meant for you to import and export tapes. You cannot use the mailslot for storing your tapes. If you are not sure what a mail or I/O slot is, read the user manual for your tape library.
Ok. I can keep empty any one or specifically in right magazine or left magazine? Thanks for your support
Mailslots are special slots. You got to check the manual for your library to see which one is the one that is designed as a mailslot.
When one job is running, it will take tape from only configured device or anyone device from Mediaset?
