Ghost Solution Suite

I have deleted the pubkey.crt for it to receate, as my old clients were always looking for a server that we no longer use. When I reboot some of them come up to my server now, but most do not. Am I doing something wrong???

If no server name is given, the client will bind to the first ghost server that answers it's broadcasts. Scroll down to the bottom of \program files\symantec\ghost\ngctw32.log to see the problem.

Perhapse the easiest way to direct your clients to the propper server is to open the pubkey in an editor (notepad or something), delete all of the text and type the server's name. Save the file, kill the ngctw32 process, and restart it (or just reboot). And you should be up and running.


There are other ways to accomplish this too.
