I have a laptop on which a Norton Antivirus Enterprise client is installed.  I want to install Norton 360 single edition but it requests to remove the Norton Enterprise edition first.  When I try to uninstall, it requests a password.  I no longer have the password.  How can I remove the Norton Antivirus Enterprise edition so that I can install Norton 360?

Norton is consumer and Symantec is enterprise class products. Can you look again and give us the correct product name?

Clients using Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition requires a password while uninstalling the client. The default password out of the box is symantec

No password requires modifying the registry:

    Open regedit

    - Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\INTEL\LANDesk\VirusProtect6\CurrentVersion\Administrator Only\Security\

    - useVPuninstallpassword

    - Change the value for this key from 1 to 0

    - Close the registry editor and retry the uninstall
