Cannot uninstall Symantec Endpoint protection manager remote console

I keep getting a message that I cannot uninstall this product, It lino version so I can't submit a support ticket s

Can you post screenshot of the error message?

Does this occur when you try to remove thru add/remove programs?

It looks it was partially uninstalled.

Check this KB article:

A howto on using the WMIC to remote uninstall applications.

 

Could possibly make a script to iterate all valid systems, I had less then 50 so I just threw all the commands into notepad and would copy/paste the lines to execute (I had 5 script windows open to handle them as execution times would vary between which system being called)

/node:<system_name> product where name="Symantec Endpoint Protection" call uninstall

It says I have to contact symantec tech support, I've used it in the past but suspect I need the latest version

Yes you can try to cleanwipe tool for uninstall Manager.

 

New Cleanwipe version is introduced in SEP 12.1 RU2

agree with Pete and Ashish, try the cleanwipe tool. hopefully it can resolve your issue. If in case it can't work then reply, i have one tool which can definately remove it.

got the cleanwipe tool from Symantec and the remote console is still listed under programs. I feel like this is why I have another issue which is that I cannot add program exceptions to my firewall. I want to completely re move this before I research the other issue

You should perform manual uninstall steps.

If possible try to run cleanwipe tool one more time.
