Endpoint Encryption

Hi,

 

When i try to unistall, it asks me for my client admin details.

I enter what i thought I had used, but it won't accept it.

I have also created a new client admin in group policy, run a gpupdate/force but it still won't accept any credentials I enter, stating, "Your credentials could not be verified. Please enter valid credentials to continue".

The machine is connected to the network and there are no local permissions issues.

 

Any ideas?

I'm not entirely sure but you could check the windows event logs for anything from the Symantec source to confirm if the new admin has been created (it should detail it in there). You can then confirm it has actually reached the client. Otherwise... nothing simple like different keyboard mappings? I didnt actually know it required the client admin details to uninstall, have you decrypted first?
