I tried the solutions suggested in the "http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/275232.htm"
but still getting that error. I have copied the entire cd to my hard drive and tried it. I tried installing MDAC 2.8 SP1. I does not help. I am still gettin that error. Thanks for your help thus far.
I still need to solve this Issue.
Hi,
Please perform the following steps:
1. Verify permissions to the specified directory and determine if the referenced file actually exists
2. If the referenced file does not exist in the directory specified in the error message then extract that file from the data.cab from the installation media path ( \winnt\install\BE\data.cab ) to the directory specified in the error message
3. After extracting the file either click retry or restart the installation process which should allow the installation to progress past this point of failure.
Hope it helps!
