  • 1.  Can't access policies

    Hello,

    I am logged into the Symantec DLP web console.  I want to look at policies.  I try Manage > Policies > Policy List, however I don't see "Policies" under Manager.  I am told that I have a Sys Admin account and I see in the upper right-hand corner "Logged in as [ Sys Admin\myusername ]."  Any idea why I can't see policies despite being configured as a Sys Admin?

    sys admin does not mean he/she is an administrator. check the roles associated with the user.

    Hi BZ,

    please check mark the policy view setting in your account role in DLP . Admin of DLP has right to provide accee as Role Based Access so that only associated ppl can see the related data

    The sys admin role did not have the privileges I needed.  So I asked the admin to create a new role and we figured out what to check to make sure I could policies and incidents.  Thanks for the help.
