I have upgraded the SEPM to RU5, and everything is working fine aside from not being able to add new policies. When I click the add button, I receive a "Console Error" message. I can copy, export, and import all day long. Anyone else seen this?

    Greetings,

You able to post a screenshot of the error?

Also, could you paste the contents of C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\tomcat\logs\scm-server-0.log?

    Hi,

If you are getting this error, please do the following:

go to Start->run-> type %temp% click ok

Empty this folder for the temporary files. Once that is done, re-start the SEPM service and login to SEPM

Let us know if this method is able to solve your issue.

    Best,
    Aniket

    Hello  Aniket,

I had similar similar situation after upgrading to RU5, got "console error" while trying to add any policy.  But with your suggestion it worked.   Great!

I will appreciate if you can help us understand the reason.

    Best wishes!
