  • 1.  Can't Boot to Windows 2003 Image Server?

I installed Windows 2003 on a test machine. I cannot boot to it from a client PC with a GHOST boot floppy or CD but I can successfully access it from the Windows network.  I can boot to my old windows 2000 machine with the same media so the boot media is working correctly.  My guess is I have to enable some lower level DOS, Netbeui and/or TCP/IP settings to allow access. I've turned off the Firewall and Security Center services.  What else do I need to enable or disable?

The issue may be with SATA drives if you are using PC-DOS or MS-DOS as the boot environment. You may consider making a Windows PE-based boot CD; you can do this with Ghost Solution Suite 2.5.
