  • 1.  Cant delete program package for DLP deployment in DLP IC through Altiris 7.1

    hi ,

    Please find the attached snapshot and help me how can I delete created program package from DLP IC throgh Altiris. As I can see delete option for other package program but can see for this as I have modified/overite the program of this pacakge so it missing in this package and not giving any delete option.

    You might be able to find it by looking under all resources but as that package definition is created as a "built-in" object it's not likely that you'll be able to delete it.

    You probably have to call Support and have them assist with this.

    You'll probably need to first associate it with a package so you don't get an error when it's loading.  This is the policy to distribute the package, not the package.

    Why did you remove the package?  This is in an error state and it may be arguing with you because of that.

    Alternatively, it may be read-only.  Export the XML for the policy (right-click / export) and see if it's read only.  Look at one you created that has a delete option, and change them to match.  Thinking more about this, that's actually most likely the problem.
