Deployment Solution

I tried to deploy an image and now getting the following error.
"No licensed computers or targets with licensed computers were assigned."
When I check the NS Portal none of the license useage has reached the 300 (the number of licenses I have)
 

Heres what I have showing in the portal for licenses
Deployment = 298
SM = 298
INV sol = 294
the rest are the same as this.

Any reason why its doing this ?

Then this is a known issue.  The reason is that in automation for new computers we don't "know" that the computer has (or will have) SWD and therefore there is no licensed computer for that task of your job.  Try using 2 jobs for the same thing and see if that makes a difference.  (PS.  This IS being fixed in an upcoming version - high priority.  PPS> There's already a workaround for this on another thread we can point you to)

If you don't think this is the reason, please list the steps of your job and we'll go from there.

yep - tried it without the package and it worked. When this upcoming version getting released then ?

The article is in the process of being updated, because now it actually shows you how to build your jobs to accomodate this.  So if you don't see the step-by-step, the following forum post has it:

Look down at Harkernater's post 02 dec 2010.  He found a good work around - as good as any we have.  I've put this in that KB, but for some reason every time I look at it, the steps are missing.  Maybe they'll be there for you.

Anyway, again, the release is I believe expected with ITMS 7.1 (march/april time frame currently), but I don't have a "for sure" on that yet.  It might come out in a maintenance release / SP as well, but I've not heard.
