Can't deploy image while DriversDB is not synced

I'm having a problem with DS 7.6 HF7 that's pretty seriously getting in the way of my productivity. Whenever I update the DriversDB (say, we have a new Dell model coming in we've never imaged before and I'm uploading the CAB pack), we all know it can be a while before the DriversDB is fully synced between the NS and Site Server. If I try to deploy an image when they're not synced, even though the Site Server already has the drivers I need, the deploy job fails with this:

ErrorMessage: Exception has occured in function SMPPackage.cpp() at Line No 105. Type of exception is GeneralError. Error is Package Server is not found for package with Guid {20827DDD-C698-49E8-B312-830DF1D935B2}. It may be that package is just created and not ready yet or package have not synced on nearest packages server. Please try after sometime.. Error Description is utilCSMPPackageInitialiaze. Value of Windows error code = 6 and message is The handle is invalid.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!
