We have some people with Lexmark USB printers that are being blockd by our Device Control Policy.

I want to exclude some Lexmark USB printers (like Lexmark x260d) but I can't see this in the Device Manager or in the DevViewer utilitiy.

So how can I exlude it from blocking in my SEP 12.1 environment If I can't see it?

What is showing in the Control log?

See the option outlined for excluding in this KB article:

Network Printer does not receive print jobs after installing the Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) client

    For managed clients:

    1. Log in to the Endpoint Manager Console.
    2. Click Policies, then click Application and Device Control.
    3. Double-click the application and device control policy that is in use by affected clients.
    4. Click on Device Control.
    5. Under Devices Excluded From Blocking, click Add...
    6. Click Printing Devices, then click OK.
