I had a Droid Razor for quite some time and had my phone set to recognize an email from four key people in my organization and tell me

"email from---(state subject line of email)" 

I now have the Samsung 7 and uninstalled the regular version and installed the HD version. I have assigned values to the fields in the 'manage rules' menu and set it up like before however my phone does not give me any audible notification when receiving an email from these sources...

Help?

If you check under Touchdown settings>advanced>legacy>advanced>email alerts, what do you have set there? If it's on no alerts, rules will not work- set it to custom alert with nothing checked to resolve this, then save.
