    Hi,

I'm trying to use Symantec Ghost Suite 3.0 to grab images from a machine and push the image to other machines using PXE boot (using WinPE).  I ran into this issue while PXE booting on a machine that I want to grab the image from:

    IMAG0828.jpg

How do I fix this so I can grab the image?  How do I get this to authenticate the network connection?  What network drive is this specifying?  Where do I change it so it isn't conflicting?  How do I get this working?

    Thanks,

    Stan

When you created the Boot Disk image you would have been asked for credentials to map a drive in WinPE back to the Ghost server. It probably uses the Service Account credentials by default, which should be OK but might not be working in your case for some reason.

I can see here that you cannot see the express share as the F:\ is already is use. To resolve,

    1. Open up the PXE Configuration Utility
    2. Edit your WinPE configuration that's giving you this issue
    3. When in Bootdisk creator, in the mapped drives section change the UNC path from the F:\ Drive mapping and put this into M:\
    4. Save

Once your new PXE image has been committed, you should now be able to map to the express share.

    Kind Regards,

    Ian./
