  • 1.  cant install DLP agent altiris error

    I am trying to install DLP agent but in final installation fininshing i can see the attached error and cant install agent an dnot showing on DLP console;

    I think you need to install the DLP agent by right click the installation package and choose Run As Administrator.

    Salim,

    first try to remove Altiris agent and restart the machine and ireinstall DLP agent .chcek as in error there is something related to altiris issue.

    please check altiris services is available or not... I think Altiris agent is not remove properly.

    Hi Salim,

    Remove Altiris agent completely clean with manual registry entries and also remove DLP agent with X86/64cleanAgent.exe. Try to trace registry enteies of the same. If possible take help of Process monitor and Revo uninstaller. 

    Restart the machine and try to install if still problem persist create Symantec support ticket for the same.
