Deployment Solution

Okay I've got a wierd problem .. I'm testing Altiris version 6.9 and have created a PE boot disk that doesn't seem to be working. What happens is when I boot to the CD all it does is map the drives and sits at the "F" drive.


Anyone have any ides what the heck is going on?

That's all a network boot disk does. I use them for network testing and/or manual image downloads. What you probably want to make is a bootworks disk. This would check in to the server and look for tasks to run.

Sorry .. I meant bootworks and typed the wrong thing

And yes I made sure I was using a bootworks iso.
