As title says, I have a client that is able to view his email as texts, but cannot reply via text.

Can you clarify the issue- he is getting email forwarded as text messages, but replying to them doesn't go through? Touchdown will require you to enter the application to reply to email.

Yes, that is correct. He gets his emails forwarded as text messages, but is unable to reply via text. Am I correct in thinking that such capability does not exist? Or is there some way to do so without opening the Touchdown app or other email client? Either way, I appreciate your time and response.

There is no way to reply without going through Touchdown.
