  • 1.  Can't Schedule a Software policy to ONLY run at set time

    Hi Folks,

    In our environment we used to run a script in NS6 via a software delivery task, to execute a script at 10pm each night on any computers that were still left on.

    We achieved this in NS6 by setting the option “Only run at scheduled time” in the NS6 Software Delivery Task

    My question is – How can I achieve this in NS7?

    Because even if I set a schedule in NS7 to only run at 10pm, as soon as the computer gets the updated configuration the job will run as the computer thinks its out of compliance.

    Hi Mick,

    There is check box "Only perform check if computer is available at the exact scheduled time" available in the Advanced Compliance schedule option on MD policy UI. Please see the attached screenshot.

    I think this what you are looking for.
