    I attached a jpeg of what happens in IE. I added the localhost with the port # of anything that seemed to pop up when i click any of the links on the 'Home' page to 'trusted sites', but this is what I still get.

    Suggestions?

     yeah use mozilla or chrome.

    Installed newest firefox. Restarted. Told firefox to be the default browser. SEPM still insists on trying to use IE... went into internet options in Server 2008 control panel, told it to make Firefox be the default program for any filetype it typically opens.

    Still wants to open IE7. Argg.
