  • 1.  Can't Sync My Android Phone

    Hi - I'm hoping for some tech help here....

    I have a Motorola Razr and use Touchdown to organize mail.  The other day I stopped reveiving emails and have tried to troubleshoot it.  When I push the SYNC feature, it tells me there is a Syncronization error and that I should contact my system administrator.  Here are some other clues:

    • I can send emails from the phone
    • My contacts seem to have disappeared from my phone (but not from my Outlook on my computer, thank God).
    • My Calendar is blank on my phone
    • It tells me that Push is Suspended because of "Too many timeouts in one minute"
    • And, FWIW, my personal GMAIL account, for which I do not use Touchdown, is working fine.

    I have spoken with out IT administrator who reset my password on the server and even restarted the server, but these did not work.

    Any suggestions as to cause and solution?

    Please contact us at Touchdown-support@symantec.com and we can get a log to look over and help out with this. There could be several reasons for this error and I would need to see a log to close in on it. Thanks!
