Can't upgrade SEP 11 clients after migrating the manager to 12

I have succefully upgraded the SEP Manager to v . 12.1.671.4971.

Now I can't update the clients:

*** Nothing happens when I assign install packages to the certain group ( Under CLients - Install packages)

*** When I try to "Upgrade clients with the package" under Admin - Install packages it says "Package already deployed"

*** When I "install protection client to computer" it hangs forever. I tried use basic package, re-run the server config wizard with no luck.

So my question, HOW to update clients from version 11 to 12?

Thanks.

Hi, As you have mentioned

Hi,

As you have mentioned " Nothing happens when I assign install packages to the certain group ( Under CLients - Install packages" - If you have applied package before sometime then it may take some time to upgrade clients.

Thanks guys for your

Thanks guys for your replays.

Chetan, it is now more than 24 hours since the package was assigned - still not updating.

Bijay, I know I can update clients manually - but this is not the case for me doing this for 400 users.

can you check the traffic

can you check the traffic between SEPM and the targeted clients to know if the packages are being pushed?

It works now with Basic package

I tried to upgrade a client from the Task list on the Home page and it worked OK with the basic package.

Looks like I will have to upgrade all PCs in this way....

Just realized, that updated SEP has Proactive / Network Threat protection dated May 2011 :-(
