Can't use Public Key after generating it with Symantec Encryption Desktop

I used Symantec Encryption Desktop to set up my key pairs, and automatically submitted the Public Key to PGP Global Directory keyserver.  But when I search keyserver.pgp.com, the email address is not there.  And other PGP users cannot send me encrypted email, receiving a message that the "key was not found"

I tried to manually upload the Public Key to the keyserver, but got an error message stating that the key was already there but verification was not complete.

How do I verify a Public Key that is on the PGP Global Directory keyserver?

The keyserver will send you an e-mail for verification with verification instructions. I believe it asks you to click a link and use that to verify your address. Make sure to check your spam folder for a verification email. Some overactive spam filters may place it there.
