Endpoint Encryption

  • 1.  Capital letters in passphrase

    Hi,

I've set up a passphrase containing some capital letters and some numbers and encrypted the whole disk.

When booting up and when requested to enter the passphrase, the "Shift" key to enter the capital letters or the numbers (I use a French keyboard where the numbers need the shift key) doesn't work. After several trials, I found out that the only way to enter those keys is to use the CAPS LOCK key, which is quite cumbersome when you have to change from one case to the other several times in the same passphrase.

Somebody has any idea on how to solve this problem ?

NB: I've tried with other keyboard lay outs, but it's always the same problem. The shift key is just inoperative. The Endpoint Encryption version I use is 10.3.2 MP11.

    Many thanks.
