  • 1.  Capturing Image From Cybernet iOne-GX45

I have been trying to capture an image from a Cybernet iOne-GX45 and it shows up in the DS Console, but when I drag the computer onto the job, it reboots then bypasses the PXE menu to a screen that says "PRESS A KEY TO REBOOT".

I have worked with Cybernet Tech Support and they are saying that if it boots to where the BootWorks screen appears for me to capture the image then the problem lies with Altiris.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    1.  Make sure that PXE is turned on in the BIOS (some bios's allow you to turn the network card "on" or "on w/PXE".  Make sure it is set to on with pxe.

    2.  Make sure the boot order put the network boot first.

    3.  Make sure that the DS job is set to the correct automation (sometimes, if you don't choose the correct automation, it will want to reboot and eventually the job will fail because it never gets to the automation that DS is expecting".

It was actually a Cybernet problem. The new iOne-GX45s require that you go into the NIC BIOS and set it to boot from NIC first then other devices. Weird.
