Hi Symantec\forum users,
Got a really confusing problem with Ghost Console (Version: 11.5.0.2113 (Apr 22 2008, Build=2113)
We have 500+ computers on site and we use Ghost to image them and to install programs. We make a sysprep image which usually lasts about a year then we update\create a new image with the latest drivers\office version\programs.
The problem has struck when we have tried to capture this year’s sysprep image aprox 8gb, when the capture image task is initiated pcdos or winpe (both work) it captures about 10% then crashes with error 19945, I have checked the obvious faults disk space fine 40gb plus free, it is the correct Broadcom driver as we have used it fine for last 1 year ghosting computers executing tasks mainly upgrading office to 2007, have even tested on different computers ruling out a faulty HDD.
Current setup;
Windows server 2003 sp2 running on a ESX server, VMware 2.5. Allocated unlimited cpu and capped to 2gb ram. Disk is reserved 60gb C and 160gb storage on a MSA1500 SAN dual controllers with cache upgrades.
Have tried the -fro command to which did allow the session to run to 55%??
Is ghost on VMware a known fault
Any suggestions welcome
Thanks Leon
