  • 1.  Carbon Copy Remote Control Activity in the Last 'N' Days

    This appears to be a hard coded report/notification in Altiris NS 6.0. Does anyone know if it's possible to disable this? It keeps saving reports and sending daily notifications and if at all possible I'd like to just kill it since the information is pretty much useless to us.

     

     

    Description: This report displays remote control activity over the last (1) days. Saved report runs are emailed (daily) automatically if there is activity.

     

    6.5 Console: View > Solutions > Carbon Copy > Reports

    I think this is a Notification Policy sending this. Not sure where to find this in the 6.5 console, but it should be under notification policies folder. I'll look it up when I'm in the office tomorrow.

    Mine is located at Tasks > Incident Resolution > Carbon Copy > Notification Policies > Daily Remote Control usage.  If you disable this Notification Policy, you should stop receiving the messages each day.

    Yeah I figured it was a Notification Policy, just tucked away somewhere I couldn't find it. Mclemson that was where it was, thank you very much!!
