I have Symantec Endpoint Security for Small Business version 12.0.1 installed on Windows Server 2008 r2 x64.

I can log into the Protection Center without problems.  There are many aspects of Protection Center that work properly.  The icons on the left edge that work properly are Home, Policies, Computers, and Admin.

Monitors and Reports both bring up another login screen.  I log in with my admin credentials (the same I just used to log into Protection Center) and am left at a screen that looks just like the Home screen, which I don't understand why I have to log in again when it just takes me to the screen I was already at.

There are many areas that if I click on, Multiple Internet Explorer windows with the title "Reporting - Log On" begin to open and cascade over one another.  If I enter my login credentials again, it takes me to the correct page.  However, I have not had any success in the Notifications area while adding Notification Conditions.  When I try to add a Notification Condition, I again get multipe cascading Reporting - Log On windows pop up.

It feels like an IE security issue, where the security settings are too high.  However, given this is a server and the settings are defaulted to high and normally unchangeable, I am not sure how to proceed to gain access to adding Notification Conditions.

Do you use the Internet Explorer 9? If yes, please see this solution:

    Hello,

    Check the Symantec Knowledgebase Article:

Clients cannot get update the definitions from SEPM although the communication is ok.
