Cataloging tapes problem!

I had been getting errors when cataloging my tapes as per article:http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/280017.htm

I turned off the 'Use storage media-based catalogs' option and then re-ran the Catalog operation. The operation succeeds and catalogs around 220GB, however when I go to restore from the tape it is not showing the contents of the tape. This tape contains a duplicate of a B2D job.

Can anyone help, I am struggling with this.

Regards
Paul.

Which revision of Backup Exec are you using? Help > About ... if it's not Rev.7170, I recommend installing it and retrying. It's available here: http://esdownload.symantec.com/akdlm/CD/MTV/BEWS_1...

Tech note 280017 also indicates that you need to rename the existing \Catalogs folder (which requires stopping the Backup Exec services) but you didn't mention it ... \Catalogsold is mentioned but any name will do. Did you do that first?
