  • 1.  CCNs: Scrub vs. Quarantine

    Instead of quarantining a file (or in addition to it), I would like to scrub the CCNs automatically.  For instance, when an offending CSV file is found, report on it through the tool, but automatically mask the CCNs (i.e. XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-1234) and overwrite the CSV on the file system with those updates.  How can this be achieved with the DLP tool?

    i do not believe so, you can quarantine the file if you want, but dlp does not change a file unless it comes to email or web then it can block or strip out the attachments or content...
