Hi Samir You cannot modify

Hi Samir

You cannot modify complex check in CCS 9.0. You can only create a new complex check or modify simple checks.

Thanks

Samir, I know that this is

Samir,

I know that this is pretty old, but it may help others having this problem. As Hemant suggests above, there is no way to edit it from the check editor. However, if you export the standard to the XML file, you are then able to view the parameters for the check and modify them to meet your needs. Once you have it edited, you can then import the standard in, run a data collection, and evaluate it as normal. You need to have a pretty strong understanding, however, of the logic behind the check or you will not get the results you are looking for.

Hey Samir,

Can you let me know what kind of checks are you working with? May be we can try to create the check by using our own formula.

Administrative templates

Administrative templates checks cannot be created I guess as CCS9.0.1 doesnot have that functionality as of now.I have opened a ticket with Symantec on this. I am still waiting for their response
