CCS Manager IP changing and CCS Agents re-registering

    Hi, i'm newcomming in CCS

I am deploying the CCS Suite in a test environment.
My CCS Application Server and Manager are installed on the same host on 10.10.10.2 called "CCS-01.test.com" and running Windows Server 2008 R2. The SQL Server 2008 for CCS App and Manager server installed onthe other Windows Server 2008 R2 srv. Additional i have USER PC. All the servers and PC is in the same domain. All machines have CCS Agent installed and registered to host "CCS-01.test.com".

I need to test the situation when IP will be changed on the CCS App-Manager and SQL DB Servers. And i need to know how it can affected to CCS agents comunication with CCS Manager srv and DB srv.

There is tech article http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO107161  where discribed that it's nessesary to re-register the agents if you change the IP address of a CCS Manager. But for what? If i use FQDN when i registered CCS agents to CCS Manager? And when i really chenged IP of the CCS App-Manager and DB servers I have not noticed any errors with registered CCS agents on the clients mashines - all configuration parameters fetching succsesful from agents to CCS console. So...may be there is something what i do not to understand about nessesary to re-register the agents in this case, or CCS Agents and CCS srv and DB really will work fine if only IP of servers will be changed!? Can anybody to clarify it to me, please?

    ---------------------------------------

And the second question: about CCS agent re-registering. I can't to understand how to use  AgentRegSilentInstallSample.bat to register the agents remotly (http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO76857 ). What user and password need to be written in the command:

    AgentConfiguration.exe -m [{ccs-01,user,password,1,default,5600,1}] -i enable -e [ccs-01]

    ?

Because in the SymantecESMAgentReg.log of the CCS Agent i see an error:

register:  Error: error connecting to ESM manager CCS-01.test.com

register:  Error: ESM_REG_23122, Invalid user name or password

    Many thanks for your help....
